ACEN Renewable Energy Solutions (ACEN RES) and ACMobility Holdings, Inc. will allow commercial and industrial customers to install electric vehicle (EV) charging stations powered by renewable energy, according to a report by BusinessWorld.
The partnership supports the country’s energy transition by expanding EV infrastructure and clean power access for businesses. ACEN president and CEO Eric T. Francia said the initiative will help corporate clients reduce their carbon footprint.
The move comes as the Philippine government pushes for greater adoption of electric vehicles and renewable energy to meet climate goals. ACEN is a leading renewable energy developer in the country, while ACMobility focuses on EV charging solutions.
