ACEN Corp. secured a long-term government-backed revenue support agreement for its large-scale solar and battery storage project in Australia after winning a competitive renewable energy tender, according to BusinessWorld .
The Ayala-led company’s Birriwa Solar and Battery project in New South Wales was selected under the seventh round of the Australian government’s renewable energy tender, which guarantees revenue stability for the developer. The agreement will provide financial certainty for the project, covering both solar generation and battery storage capacity.
This win strengthens ACEN’s expansion in Australia, one of its largest overseas markets, as it continues to scale its renewable energy portfolio. The project is expected to contribute significantly to the company’s long-term earnings and support Australia’s transition to cleaner energy sources.
