JAMCO PHILIPPINES, INC. (JPI), a manufacturer of commercial aircraft interior components and subassembly parts, has committed to invest at least P600 million over the next three years to expand its operations at Clark Aviation Capital, state-run Clark International Airport Corp. (CIAC) said in a media release on Tuesday, as reported by BusinessWorld.

CIAC stated it signed a lease agreement with JPI, which will allow the company to expand its production facilities at the aviation hub. The investment is expected to create additional jobs and boost the local aerospace industry. The expansion aligns with the government's push to develop Clark as a premier aviation and logistics center.

JPI is a subsidiary of Japan's Jamco Corporation, a major supplier to aircraft manufacturers such as Boeing and Airbus. The expansion in Clark underscores the growing role of the Philippines in the global aerospace supply chain, particularly in the manufacturing of interior parts and components.
