According to Philstar Biz, boutique airline AirSWIFT will cease operating as a separate entity starting July 1, as its flights are rolled into the provincial operations of its new owner, Cebu Pacific.
The transition means all AirSWIFT routes and aircraft will be integrated under the Cebgo brand, which handles Cebu Pacific's inter-island and provincial services. AirSWIFT previously operated as a niche carrier serving destinations like El Nido and other tourism spots in Palawan.
Passengers with existing AirSWIFT bookings will be accommodated on Cebgo flights without disruption, according to the report. The consolidation is part of Cebu Pacific's strategy to streamline operations and expand its regional network under a single brand.
