Alibaba has strengthened its artificial intelligence ecosystem by unifying its major AI teams, releasing new foundation models, and expanding its cloud infrastructure, according to TechPinas. The company introduced Qwen, HappyHorse, and HappyOyster models while broadening the Qwen ecosystem with consumer tools, enterprise platforms, and AI-powered wearables.
Alibaba Cloud now operates 105 availability zones across 32 regions worldwide, backed by a US$53 billion infrastructure commitment. The expanded network is designed to support organizations pursuing digital transformation and increasingly demanding AI workloads.
Beyond cloud and model development, Alibaba is applying AI to practical sectors such as healthcare and agriculture. With full-stack capabilities spanning proprietary chips, cloud infrastructure, foundation models, and applications, the company is positioning itself to support enterprises moving from AI experimentation to large-scale deployment.
