Samsung has announced that Prime Video will be the first streaming service to support HDR10+ ADVANCED, according to a report from YugaTech.
HDR10+ ADVANCED is an enhanced version of the HDR10+ dynamic metadata standard, designed to improve brightness, contrast, and color accuracy scene by scene. Samsung said the format builds on existing HDR10+ technology to deliver a more immersive viewing experience on compatible displays.
The debut on Prime Video marks the first commercial deployment of HDR10+ ADVANCED on a major streaming platform. Samsung expects other streaming services and content producers to adopt the format in the future, expanding its availability across more titles and devices.
