According to YugaTech, Apple has raised the monthly subscription price for Apple Music in the Philippines. The Individual plan now costs P169, up from the previous P129. The price increase applies to new subscribers immediately, while existing users will see the change in their next billing cycle.

The adjustment is part of a global price hike for Apple Music, which also saw increases in other countries. Apple attributed the change to rising operating costs and licensing fees. Alongside the music streaming service, Apple also raised prices for iCloud+ storage plans in various markets.

The price increase marks the first time Apple has changed its music subscription pricing in the Philippines since the service launched in the country. Apple Music remains available with a free trial period for new users. The company has not announced any changes to its Family or Student plans as of this writing.
