EVOMILE INNOVATION Corp., which operates BYD Motors Philippines dealerships, said it expects continued growth in electric vehicle (EV) sales this year as demand shifts to energy-efficient transport, BusinessWorld reported.
The company cited rising fuel costs and growing environmental awareness as key factors driving consumer preference toward EVs. Evomile noted that its showrooms have seen increased foot traffic and inquiries, particularly for BYD’s affordable models.
To meet anticipated demand, Evomile plans to expand its dealership network and invest in after-sales services, including charging infrastructure. The company remains optimistic about the Philippine EV market, supported by government incentives and improving battery technology.
