Canadian business process outsourcing firm NQX is planning a P632-million expansion of its facility in Taytay, Rizal, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) announced, as reported by BusinessWorld.
The expansion is expected to generate approximately 725 new jobs in the municipality. The DTI made the announcement in a statement on Monday, highlighting the project's potential boost to local employment and economic activity.
In addition to its Taytay operations, NQX is also evaluating potential sites in Laoag City, Dagupan City, or Legazpi for future expansion, signaling the company's continued investment in the Philippine BPO sector.
