Under the partnership, COREnergy will manage the procurement and supply of electricity for Cathay Land’s portfolio, which includes shopping centers, offices, and residential developments. The arrangement is expected to stabilize energy costs and improve efficiency through aggregated purchasing.

The move reflects a growing trend among Philippine property developers to adopt retail electricity aggregation as a way to reduce overhead and gain more predictable energy pricing in a volatile market. Neither company has disclosed the financial terms of the deal.
