Cebu Air Inc. (CEB), the operator of budget carrier Cebu Pacific, said its passenger traffic rose 4.24% year on year to 14.50 million in the first half of 2026, according to a report by BusinessWorld.
The growth was driven by higher domestic passenger traffic, with June marking a return to year-on-year growth as the airline continued to see strong demand on domestic routes even as it entered the traditional lean season. The first-half figures compare with 13.91 million passengers in the same period last year.
Cebu Pacific operates one of the largest domestic networks in the Philippines and has been expanding its international routes. The airline said it remains focused on operational efficiency and affordability to sustain passenger growth in the second half of the year.
