The Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Philippine Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (PhilCham SG), as reported by BusinessWorld.

The agreement aims to link Philippine-based businesses with Singapore-based Filipino entrepreneurs, fostering trade and investment opportunities between the two countries. CFO Chairman Francisco P. Acosta emphasized the importance of leveraging the Filipino diaspora in Singapore to boost economic collaboration.

PhilCham SG President Maria Lourdes Garcia expressed optimism that the partnership will facilitate networking, knowledge sharing, and joint ventures. The MoU is expected to open doors for Filipino businesses seeking expansion in Southeast Asia.
