The Department of Agriculture (DA) on Monday announced the approval of P2.06 billion worth of farm-to-market road and bridge projects, Agriculture Secretary Francisco P. Tiu Laurel, Jr. said, as reported by BusinessWorld.
The projects cover 66 kilometers of farm-to-market roads and 310 linear meters of bridges across Zambales, Oriental Mindoro, Masbate, Samar, Bukidnon, and North Cotabato.
The infrastructure aims to improve access for farmers to markets, reducing post-harvest losses and boosting agricultural productivity in rural areas.
