Google is set to officially enter the smart tracker market with its first-party Bluetooth tracker, the Google Pixel Tag, according to a report from YugaTech
The leaked device is positioned to rival Apple's AirTag, which has been a dominant player in the Bluetooth tracker category since its launch. The Pixel Tag is expected to integrate tightly with Google's ecosystem, including Android's Find My Device network, similar to how AirTag works with Apple's Find My network.
While Google has not officially confirmed the Pixel Tag, the leak signals the company's intent to challenge Apple in the growing smart tracker segment. As more consumers use trackers for everyday items like keys and bags, competition among tech giants is likely to intensify.
