Wise claims its mid-market exchange rate and low fees can save customers up to 8x compared to traditional banks. For GoTyme, the service expands its digital banking offerings beyond savings and local payments, positioning it to compete with other neobanks and fintech apps in the remittance space. Customers can send money to bank accounts, mobile wallets, and even cash pickup locations across 170 countries, with most transfers completed within seconds.
