The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) has expanded the repayment period for its Balik Ginhawa loan moratorium program to six months, as reported by Philstar Biz.
The program, initially offering shorter refund terms, now allows members and pensioners more time to settle their loans, aiming to ease the financial strain from persistently high living costs linked to the ongoing Middle East conflict.
GSIS officials said the move is part of broader efforts to support its constituents amid economic uncertainties, ensuring that beneficiaries can manage expenses without defaulting on their obligations.
