Hollister has opened its first store in the Philippines at SM Mall of Asia, according to a report by Inside Retail Asia. The casual apparel brand, known for its California-inspired aesthetic, has entered the Philippine market through a partnership with PT Mitra Adiperkasa (MAP), an Indonesian-based lifestyle retailer.
The store is located at the SM Mall of Asia complex in Pasay City, one of the largest shopping malls in the country. This expansion marks Hollister's first physical retail presence in the Philippines, adding to the brand's global footprint in Asia. MAP, which operates a portfolio of international brands across Southeast Asia, will manage the store's day-to-day operations.
The opening reflects growing interest among international apparel brands in the Philippine retail market, which has seen steady recovery post-pandemic. Hollister's entry also expands MAP's roster of brand partnerships in the country, which includes other well-known global labels.
