The PSEi ended Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 6,500.23, up 0.45% from the previous session, as investors weighed corporate earnings and global cues, according to data from BusinessWorld.
Top gainers among PSEi members included SM Investments Corp., which rose 2.1%, and Ayala Land Inc., which gained 1.8%. On the losing side, PLDT Inc. fell 1.2%, while BDO Unibank Inc. slipped 0.6%. Trading volume reached 1.2 billion shares worth ₱8.5 billion.
Sector-wise, the holding firms index led gains with a 1.1% increase, while the property and industrial indices also posted modest upticks. The services index was the only decliner, down 0.3%.
