Automotive distributor Inchcape has sold its Mazda C5 dealership to Mazda Philippines, according to a report by AutoIndustriya. The transaction transfers full ownership of the Quezon City-based dealer to the local arm of the Japanese carmaker.
The dealership, located along Commonwealth Avenue in Barangay Batasan Hills, was previously operated by Inchcape under a franchise agreement. Mazda Philippines has now assumed direct control, streamlining its retail network in Metro Manila.
Inchcape's divestment marks a strategic shift as the company refocuses on its core markets. The sale price was not disclosed, but the move consolidates Mazda's dealer operations under its own management.
