The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported Tuesday that a low pressure area (LPA) off Romblon remains likely to develop into a tropical cyclone, which would be named Henry. As of its 10 a.m. bulletin, the LPA was located over the coastal waters of Romblon, Romblon, according to BusinessWorld.

PAGASA has raised heavy rainfall warnings over six areas due to the LPA. The state weather bureau advised residents in affected regions to take precautions against possible flooding and landslides. The LPA is expected to bring moderate to heavy rains over parts of Luzon and the Visayas.

Meteorologists continue to monitor the LPA's movement and development. Should it intensify into a tropical storm, it will be the second cyclone to enter the Philippine area of responsibility this year. PAGASA urged the public to stay updated through official weather bulletins.
