Manila Water Co., Inc. subsidiary Clark Water Corp. and state-run Clark Development Corp. (CDC) have broken ground on a 10-million-liter-per-day (MLD) wastewater treatment plant in the Clark Freeport Zone (CFZ) in Pampanga, as reported by BusinessWorld.

The project, which broke ground on July 1, aims to expand wastewater treatment capacity in the economic zone as business activity continues to grow. The facility will help manage increasing wastewater from commercial and industrial operations within the CFZ.

The development underscores the ongoing infrastructure improvements in Clark Freeport, positioning it as a key hub for business and investment. No completion timeline has been announced.
