Marks & Spencer is set to reopen in the Philippines by the end of the year, with its first store located at the Glorietta mall in Makati City, according to a report by Philstar.com.

The British retailer previously operated in the country but exited the market several years ago. The return signals renewed confidence in the Philippine retail sector.

The reopening is part of M&S's broader strategy to expand in Asia. The company is expected to offer its signature clothing and food products at the new location.
