GOLDEN ARCHES Development Corp., the master franchise holder of McDonald’s Philippines, has partnered with the Integrated Bar of the Philippines-Quezon City Chapter (IBP-QC) to support the Supreme Court’s Unified Legal Aid Service (ULAS) program, BusinessWorld reported.
In a statement on Wednesday, McDonald’s Philippines said it signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with IBP-QC that will allow its employees and franchisees to access free legal assistance under the ULAS program. The initiative aims to provide legal aid to indigent litigants and promote access to justice.
The partnership aligns with the Supreme Court’s efforts to expand legal aid services nationwide. IBP-QC will administer the program, leveraging the restaurant chain’s extensive network to reach more communities in need of legal support.
