The Meralco Group has announced a partnership with Vietnam’s VinEnergo to develop up to 25 gigawatts (GW) of renewable energy and battery storage capacity, according to Philstar Biz.
The Pangilinan-led conglomerate’s move is part of a broader strategy to diversify its power portfolio and tap into the growing demand for clean energy in the Philippines and the region. The partnership aims to leverage VinEnergo’s expertise in renewable energy projects across Southeast Asia.
