According to Philstar Biz , Metro Retail Stores Group Inc, the listed retail arm of the Gaisano Group, has opened its 83rd store in Eastern Visayas, strengthening its presence in the region.
The new store is part of the company’s expansion strategy beyond Metro Manila, focusing on areas with growing consumer demand. Metro Retail operates a mix of supermarkets, department stores, and hypermarkets.
With the addition, Metro Retail now has 83 stores nationwide. The company continues to seek opportunities for growth in provincial areas to serve more Filipinos.
