The National Dairy Authority (NDA) is pushing for a P140.5 million digitalization program to enhance its regulatory services and consolidate information from satellite offices, according to a report by Philstar Biz .

The proposed funding will be used to modernize the agency’s IT infrastructure, automate workflows, and integrate data from its regional offices. This is expected to reduce processing times for dairy farm accreditation, import permits, and other regulatory requirements, while improving data accuracy and accessibility.

The NDA’s digitalization push aligns with the government’s broader e-governance agenda, aiming to make regulatory processes more efficient and transparent. The agency hopes the initiative will also help boost the local dairy industry by providing faster and more reliable services to stakeholders.
