The Philippines and Denmark entered into a partnership to mobilize financing for priority development programs, the Department of Finance (DoF) said. According to BusinessWorld, the memorandum of understanding was signed on Monday by Finance Secretary Benjamin Diokno and Danish Ambassador Franz-Michael Skjold Mellbin.

The agreement aims to strengthen financial and developmental cooperation between the two countries. It will focus on areas such as green transition, sustainable infrastructure, and social development, aligning with the Philippines' long-term economic goals.

The DoF emphasized that the deal will help catalyze private and public investments for projects that support the country's development agenda. Details on specific funding amounts or timelines were not immediately disclosed.
