The index highlighted that the country’s high workforce literacy and strong enterprise adoption of AI technologies contributed to its top-five position. Ataraxis noted that these factors have helped the Philippines compete effectively in the rapidly evolving outsourcing landscape.
However, concerns were raised about the quality of the education system, which could affect the talent pipeline needed to sustain AI readiness in the long term. The report underscores the need for continued investment in education and skills development to maintain the sector's competitive edge.
