Du brings more than 20 years of experience in the sporting goods industry, having held senior roles at major brands including Nike and Adidas. His appointment signals Salomon’s commitment to strengthening its foothold in the fast-growing Chinese outdoor market.
The French outdoor company, known for its trail running shoes and ski equipment, has been expanding in Asia through targeted retail partnerships and digital channels. Du’s leadership is expected to accelerate that push amid rising demand for premium outdoor gear in China.
