SM Investments Corp. (SMIC), BDO Unibank, Inc., and SM Prime Holdings, Inc. received a combined 24 recognitions at the 16th Asian Excellence Awards organized by Hong Kong-based publication Corporate Governance Asia, as reported by BusinessWorld.
SMIC, the group’s parent company, received eight awards. BDO Unibank led with nine awards, while SM Prime Holdings received seven. The awards recognize excellence in corporate governance, investor relations, and overall corporate performance.
Among the individual recognitions, SMIC President and Vice Chairman was honored with the Best Investor Relations Professional award. The recognitions underscore the group’s commitment to transparency and strong governance practices.
