SM Prime Holdings Inc. (SMPH) has lined up more than 20 events for 2026 at the newly opened SM Seaside Cebu Arena, expanding the roster of large-scale live entertainment events in the Visayas, according to a report from BusinessWorld.
The company said its goal is to help Cebu capture a larger share of the live entertainment economy. By bringing major events to the city, SMPH aims to attract both local audiences and tourists, boosting economic activity in the region.
SM Seaside Cebu Arena, which opened recently, is part of the larger SM Seaside City Cebu complex. The venue is expected to host concerts, sports events, and other performances, further establishing Cebu as a key destination for entertainment in the Philippines.
