Smart Communications has launched the Rokid AI Glasses as the first telco-bundled AI wearables in the Philippines, according to a report by TechPinas. The lightweight glasses feature native Google Gemini integration for hands-free AI assistance, real-time translation, navigation, and productivity tools.
New and existing Smart Postpaid Plans+ 1499 subscribers can get the glasses starting at PHP28,800 via straight payment, while Smart Infinity members under Plan 8000 receive the device for free. The bundle positions the device as part of Smart’s push into next-generation connected experiences beyond smartphones.
Available starting May 29, 2026, the Rokid AI Glasses come with a 12MP camera, immersive private audio, transcription, and a teleprompter mode. Designed for creators, travelers, and professionals, the 49g wearable aims to help users stay connected and productive without constantly reaching for their phones.
