Jollibee Foods Corp. (JFC) said its Hong Kong-based dim sum chain Tim Ho Wan plans to double its store network in Taiwan to 32 locations by 2030 through its franchise expansion strategy, as reported by BusinessWorld.
The company described Taiwan as “one of Tim Ho Wan’s most established and successful franchise markets,” expressing confidence in further growth. The expansion aligns with JFC’s broader strategy to strengthen its international presence, particularly in Asia, where demand for affordable dim sum continues to rise.
Tim Ho Wan, known for its Michelin-starred offerings at accessible prices, currently operates 16 outlets in Taiwan. The expansion plan comes amid increasing competition in the quick-service restaurant sector, as JFC seeks to leverage its franchise model to capture market share in urban centers.
