Uniqlo has opened a new logistics hub in Cavite, Philippines, designed to apply Japanese operational concepts such as kaizen and just-in-time inventory, according to a report by Philstar.com.

The facility spans over 10,000 square meters and will serve as the main distribution center for Uniqlo's growing retail network in the country. The hub is expected to shorten delivery times to stores and reduce inventory waste, aligning with the company's lean management philosophy.

The investment underscores the increasing importance of efficient logistics in the Philippine retail sector, where brands are racing to improve supply chain resilience and meet rising consumer demand for fast, reliable delivery.
