A Walmart shopper in Florida was arrested after police say she used a barcode-swapping scheme to steal approximately $1,300 worth of Lego sets, according to The Sun.

Authorities say the suspect removed the original barcodes from higher-priced Lego sets and replaced them with barcodes from cheaper items, then paid the lower price at self-checkout. The scheme was discovered when store security reviewed surveillance footage and noticed the price discrepancies.

The suspect now faces charges of grand theft. Retailers have increasingly targeted barcode-swapping fraud through enhanced security measures and employee training. The Lego sets were recovered, and the suspect is scheduled to appear in court later this month.
