THE World Bank has extended a $2-million grant that will fund a United Nations-led project aimed at supporting the reintegration of former soldiers in the Philippines.
In a disclosure on May 28, the World Bank said that the grant was funded by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development/International Development Association, which acts as the implementing agency for the project.
The grant, reported by BusinessWorld, is expected to help former combatants transition to civilian life through livelihood support and other assistance programs.
