Ayala-led ACEN Corp. is bringing in a Dutch investor for a solar power project in India, as the renewable energy company continues to expand its presence in one of its largest international markets. In a disclosure on Monday, ACEN said it had entered into agreements with Diamond India Renewables One B.V. (DIRO) for the project, according to BusinessWorld.

The deal, which involves entities under ACEN and DIRO, marks the company’s latest move to strengthen its renewable energy portfolio in India. ACEN has been actively pursuing growth opportunities in the country, which it considers a key market for its international expansion strategy.

This partnership underscores ACEN's commitment to scaling up its clean energy capacity abroad, particularly in India, where demand for solar power is growing rapidly. The company’s entry with a Dutch investor also highlights the cross-border investment interest in the country’s renewable energy sector.
