The Department of Justice (DoJ) has begun construction of a new multi-purpose building complex in Lanao del Norte, according to a statement from BusinessWorld on Tuesday. Justice Secretary Fredderick A. Vida led the groundbreaking ceremony for the project in Kakai.

The facility is designed to house the DoJ’s provincial offices and support the delivery of justice services across the province. The project aims to streamline operations and improve access to legal and judicial services for residents of Lanao del Norte and nearby areas.

Secretary Vida emphasized the department’s commitment to enhancing infrastructure for the justice system, noting that the new complex will provide a more efficient and accessible environment for both personnel and the public. No timeline for completion was provided.
