EcoSolar Energy Corp. is set to begin construction of its largest solar farm in Capiz after obtaining an environmental compliance certificate (ECC) from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), as reported by BusinessWorld .
The ECC was issued by the DENR’s Environmental Management Bureau Region 6, clearing the regulatory path for the project. EcoSolar said in a statement that the certificate marks a key milestone for the solar farm, which is expected to be its biggest in the province.
With the environmental clearance secured, EcoSolar can now proceed with construction, contributing to the expansion of renewable energy capacity in the Visayas region.
