According to Philstar Biz, the fuel discount subsidy for public utility vehicle (PUV) drivers will be raised to P12 per liter starting August 15.
The increase provides greater financial assistance to transport operators and drivers, helping cushion the impact of rising fuel prices. The subsidy is part of the government's ongoing support program for the transport sector.
Qualified PUV drivers are expected to claim the higher discount at participating fuel stations. The new rate will remain in effect until further notice, according to the report.
