Metro Pacific Agro Ventures, Inc. (MPAV), the agribusiness arm of Metro Pacific Investments Corp. (MPIC), announced plans to build a new dairy processing plant at its farm in Bay, Laguna, with construction expected to begin by mid-2027, as reported by BusinessWorld. The facility aims to extend the shelf life of the company’s fresh milk products.

The plant will allow MPAV to process its fresh milk more efficiently, reducing spoilage and enabling wider distribution. The company currently operates a dairy farm in Bay, Laguna, and the new facility will integrate processing capabilities to support its growing dairy business.

MPAV is part of the MPIC group, which has investments in infrastructure, utilities, and agribusiness. The move into dairy processing aligns with the company’s strategy to expand its agribusiness footprint and meet rising demand for locally produced dairy products in the Philippines.
