Robinsons Land Corp. (RLC) has officially renamed Bridgetowne Avenue as John Gokongwei Jr. Boulevard, a permanent tribute to the Gokongwei Group's founder on his 100th birth anniversary, Philstar Biz reported.
The renamed boulevard runs through the Bridgetowne estate, RLC's flagship mixed-use development spanning Quezon City and Pasig. The naming commemorates Gokongwei's centennial and institutionalizes his legacy within one of the company's most prominent properties.
Gokongwei, who founded the Gokongwei Group, built a conglomerate spanning food, retail, real estate, and airlines. RLC, the group's property arm, has grown into one of the largest developers in the Philippines under his leadership.
