Singapore’s Universal Success Enterprises Limited is looking to expand in the Philippines through potential investments in logistics parks and data centers, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) said. A report by BusinessWorld noted the company is actively evaluating opportunities in the country as part of its regional growth strategy.
The company is reportedly exploring strategic partnerships with local industry leaders, including the PLDT Group, to tap into the Philippines’ expanding data center network. The potential investments come as demand for digital infrastructure and logistics support continues to rise, driven by e-commerce growth and the business process outsourcing sector.
DTI officials are actively courting Singaporean investors as part of efforts to attract more foreign capital into high-growth sectors. Should the projects materialize, they could strengthen the Philippines’ position as a regional hub for logistics and cloud services, generating jobs and improving digital connectivity.
