In a press statement on Tuesday, the Korean Embassy said the two leaders also discussed initiatives on socio-economic development and capacity-building programs for the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM). The engagement comes as BARMM transitions toward its first regularly elected government, with South Korea positioning itself as a key development partner alongside other international donors.
