UNIQLO Philippines is planning to provide technical skills training to over 3,000 youth in Manila and Valenzuela cities, according to a report by BusinessWorld .

The initiative, part of the Japanese retailer’s UNIQLO PEACE program, marks its first such effort in the Philippines. It aims to equip young participants with skills that enhance their access to employment and entrepreneurial opportunities.

“We want to give them the tools to succeed in the workforce or start their own businesses,” said UNIQLO Philippines Chief Operating Officer Geraldine Sia during a briefing on Wednesday.
