BusinessWorld reported that Vietjet Air will launch a new route connecting Cebu and Ho Chi Minh City starting Dec. 11.
The low-cost carrier will operate the service five times a week, offering more travel options between the Philippines and Vietnam. The route is expected to double Vietjet’s total capacity between the two countries.
This expansion is part of Vietjet's strategy to strengthen its Southeast Asian network. The airline currently flies from Manila to Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, and the new Cebu route adds to its Philippine presence.
